The National Tribal Dance Festival started amidst colorful celebrations in Raipur, the capital of Chhattisgarh. The three-day event is attended by 33 states and union territories from across the country as well as 6 foreign dancers. Inaugurating the festival, Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren said, “This festival is a tribute to sections that have been isolated for centuries. The special thing about this program was that people, despite not understanding the language, enjoyed the folk music of other countries, states and were lost in the rhythm.

Hemant Soren said, This is the first event of its kind across the country. This is for a society that has been educationally and economically backward. This is the message that if we wish, this class can also walk step by step. He said, he has a craze for sports. The situation is such that more than half of the girls in the Indian team of any sport are from Jharkhand.

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel said, his government is trying to promote tribal art and culture. This festival is part of that idea. Culture Minister Amarjit Bhagat and Tourism Minister Tamradhwaj Sahu described this event as important for the exposure of Chhattisgarh’s culture and tourism sector. Earlier, Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, Congress General Secretary BK Hariprasad and the Consul General of Uganda, Palestine were honored by wearing Gaur Mukut and Mander.

Participating parties created atmosphere by showing cultural glimpse
The main attraction of the inaugural session was the marchpast. During this, all the participating teams created the atmosphere of the festival by showing glimpses of their traditional style dances. Started with the Swaziland team. This was followed by teams from Mali, Nigeria, Palestine, Sri Lanka, Uganda and Uzbekistan. After this, artists from different states of India arrived. Started from Andhra Pradesh. Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Goa, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jharkhand, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Mizoram, Maharashtra, Tripura, Nagaland, Sikkim, West Bengal and Chhattisgarh The dancers team also arrived.

Indigenous and foreign artists set color
After the opening ceremony, dancers from Nigeria, Palestine, Chhattisgarh and Tripura presented a special performance to the guests. During the dance performance, people broke the barriers of language and enjoyed the rhythm of music and dance.

From 8 pm to 9.30 pm, folk dancers from abroad will perform their art and culture. The protest will take place in the presence of Governor Anusuiya Uikey and Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel. There will be performances by dancers from Swaziland, Uzbekistan and Mali.
