Chhattisgarh Culture Minister Amarjeet Bhagat on Monday welcomed a 10-member team of Nigerians on their arrival here to take part in the National Tribal Dance Festival set to start on October 28.
Nigeria is the first foreign troupe to arrive in Raipur.
The Nigerians said they are excited to be a part of the Festival. They said they hoped to meet artistes from different countries, an official communication said.
During the mega event, 59 troupes from 27 states and six union territories of India as well as dancers from seven countries will take part.
