Bihar: Rs 1.19 crore looted from HDFC Bank branch

Hajipur (Bihar), Jun 10, Armed robbers took hostage bank workers and looted Rs 1.19 crore from a branch of HDFC Bank at Jarua Bazar under Ganga Bridge police station area of ​​Vaishali district on Thursday morning.

Vaishali District Headquarter Hajipur Sadar Sub-Divisional Police Officer Raghav Dayal said that four miscreants riding bikes carried out this incident.

These miscreants entered the branch at around 10.20 am today after the opening of the bank branch and after robbing the bank employees hostage with the help of weapons, they fled after robbing the said amount.

Vaishali superintendent of Police Manish, along with other police officials, reached the spot and inspected the spot, and questioned the bank employees. He has formed a special team to arrest the accused.
